A commitment that inspires: Project Wings
At Ben & Anna we are always looking for natural alternatives to conventional cosmetics, for solutions to reduce plastic waste and for inspiring projects that we can sustainably support.
Boosting Environmental Protection
We have chosen to support the “Project Wings” initiative because it inspires us in so many ways.
Experienced from their engagement in various NGOs (non governmental organisations), young people with different characters and individual backgrounds have all joined forces in this non-profit organisation. What they all have in common is their ambition, their commitment and their primary goal: to make the world a better place to live.
In view of existing and imminent dangers and threats, this requires a great amount of enthusiasm as well as a visionary and structured approach. Project Wings is a non-profit limited company based in Koblenz, Germany, which invests 100% of private donations in selected projects. These are all great approaches and above all great people who convinced us at Ben & Anna to be a part of the team. We are happy to be on board with Project Wings in order to inspire more people for topics such as environmental protection, animal welfare, species protection, plastic avoidance and recycling.
Indonesian recycling village
Transparency and trust play a major role for Project Wings. It is also important to them to approach selected projects as activists not just FOR, but furthermore WITH the people in the area they are working. Every project is generally designed to leave behind a system which can be and will be continued by the local people. The innovative idea of designing and building the largest recycling village in the world on Sumatra is a great example. In addition to a better use of plastic waste, the aim is to promote a natural way of life, reforestation and species protection.
Support and ideas welcome
Thanks to Project Wings, a variety of ideas and projects are created that can help us and the environment: always based on the same solid principles and always open to innovative and authentic supporters.
